Klippr Updates

Photos from your phone now post to Klippr. 📷 Your Following tab now shows posts from accounts and groups you follow, not your own Klips mixed in.

Sign in has a new look. Same form, same split screen, but now with a purple panel that slides across when you switch between signing in and creating an account. Google and email sign in work exactly as before.

Text inside "quotation marks" now shows in "italics with a soft purple tint", so a quote stands apart from the rest of your Klip. Works with straight or curly quotes, everywhere a Klip appears.

Scroll bars are now thin and match the background instead of showing a bright default bar. Reply emoji picker opens properly, and no longer pops up on its own next time you type. +Klippr

Emoji button, top right of the writing box. Opens beside your text on desktop, along the bottom on mobile, and stays open so you can add a few in a row without reopening it. 😀

Composer update: photo and GIF buttons now sit next to your attached photos, and the thumbnail row scrolls sideways once you've added more than fit. Group picker gets its own row below. See more

Shared images now keep their original proportions. Tall photos, like a movie poster or a shot straight from your phone, no longer get squashed into a fixed box when you save a Klip as an image.

Video links now show a preview card, thumbnail, title and description pulled in automatically. Works for YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok and Dailymotion links. 🎬

Groups can now hold groups. NBA, NFL and MLB sit inside Sports, and Tariffs sits inside Politics. Follow the bigger group and everything inside it comes with it. 📁

New group: Tariffs. Trade policy, duties, and who actually pays for them. Find it inside Politics, or tag your own Klip with +Tariffs.

Photos now come with an Add alt-text button. Write a short description and it helps screen reader users, plus makes your Klips easier to find in image search.

+Hip-Hop now lives inside +Music, and +Finance now holds Crypto. Follow the parent group and everything inside it comes along.

Two new profile colors: yellow and black. Plus a No color option, your header photo with zero tint over it.

Tech now splits into six groups: Apple, Android, AI, Gadgets, Startups, and Software. Follow Tech for all of them, or pick just the ones you want.

Trending is live. See what Klippr is talking about right now, beside your feed on desktop or in the bottom bar on mobile. Tap any topic to read every Klip behind it. 📈🎉

Type @ while writing a klip and pick an account to tag them. The tag links straight to their profile. 🏷️🎉 Shout out to @dennis for that one! 🙌

You can now post a stack of klips at once. Up to ten, posted as one connected run. Each klip keeps its own likes and replies, and the stack shows which one you're on. 🥞

Add up to 10 photos to a single klip. Swipe through them like a deck of cards, and double tap any photo to view it full size. 🃏

You can now add a GIF straight from the klip composer, not just in replies. Search, pick one, post. 🎞️

Type @ while writing a klip to pull up your account list. Pick one and it turns into a link straight to their profile.

You can now post up to ten klips together as one connected stack. Each klip in the stack keeps its own likes and replies, and a counter shows where you are in the sequence.
